David Hattingh, also known as HATTRICK, is a multi-genre music producer who has been on a quest for the perfect sound for the past seven years. He has established himself as a notable artist in the music industry with his uplifting trance release, Blueshift, which was picked up by Sasha Vatoff’s label RISE Recordings and received early support from Giuseppe Ottaviani. His tracks have been played on numerous radio shows worldwide.
Over the years, David has self-released several singles and also on his label, Trance Records. His collaboration with Corrie Theron, Protostar, was released on Redux 138 in early 2019 and received support from many well-known artists. In 2019 and 2020, David’s Bridge of Sighs was released on TID Recordings and his hard-hitting techno remix of Nautica & JOLO feat. Die Tuinslakke – Olke Bolke received critical acclaim.
Growing up in the 80s, David was influenced by bands such as Depeche Mode, New Order, and OMD. He then travelled to Israel and the UK, where he was introduced to the sounds of psy trance, hard house, and hard trance, which have since had a profound impact on the music he produces today.
David is currently working on refining his melodic techno sound under his HATTRICK alias and has a few other exciting projects in the works that he has yet to reveal. With his passion for music and dedication to his craft, David Hattingh is a rising star in the music industry that is worth keeping an eye on.
